This cuff bracelet is definitely is a statement piece as it’s made from a vintage silver plated butter knife from the 1917 Oneida Adam Pattern.
Even with its age, it appears to have a bright beautiful shine with minimal signs of ware in previous life as a butter knife. I’ve done my very best to smooth out imperfections and also have sanded it down so that the knife isn’t sharp.
The cuff is slightly adjustable and can be tightened to a size 5 and extended to a size 8. This should be done very gently with care to not distort the appearance.
As with all vintage silverware, there may be slight signs of wear due to being used and age which is what makes each piece I make, no matter what it is, one of a kind, unique and carries a little bit of history. After all, this is their second life in becoming beautiful pieces that people use/wear and not be eaten with and hidden when not needed.
I will however, do my best to make them as perfect as possible with buffing and polishing.
